Are you ready to take the leap into farming? The Florida Cooperative Extension Small Farm Start-up School is now enrolling for its 9-week intensive program designed to equip aspiring farmers with real-world knowledge and hands-on experience.

πŸ•• Weekly Virtual Classes: Tuesdays, 6:00–8:00 p.m. EST
πŸ’² Cost: $299 (covers 1–2 people per farm)
πŸ“ Includes: Local farm tours, guest expert panels, business planning tools, printed resources, and a final networking event
πŸ“š Topics Include:

  • Business & financial planning

  • Soil, water, and climate fundamentals

  • Livestock and crop production

  • Infrastructure, regulations, and marketing

  • E-commerce strategies

Participants will graduate with a ready-to-implement farm business plan and fulfill USDA Farm Service Agency borrower training requirements.
