Over the past few months, we’ve been working with local producers, community members, and regional partners to explore what a Traveling Farmer’s Market could look like in Walton County. This effort has included a field visit to the Red Hills Small Farm Alliance in Tallahassee, where we saw a successful model in action, as well as launching surveys to gather feedback directly from residents and vendors.
Now, it’s time for the next step: a public meeting to talk face-to-face about what this market could become — and how we get there together.
This event builds on the project’s progress outlined in our original blog post, which remains the central hub for updates, background info, and our community vision.
